Prioritizing quality sleep is important, and it’s never too late to start making sure you get enough of it. You can do it by following the basics: getting on a regular schedule, turning off the TV and computer before bed and relaxing in a quiet environment. You can also support your brain and body’s function during sleep by limiting caffeine intake and avoiding fatty or sugary foods before going to bed. In addition, sleeping on a comfortable mattress is essential for the proper functioning of your body and mind.
